So what if I told you that you could have a heart healthy, absolutely delicious cookie that was simple to make and easy to bake? Sounds too good to be true you say? What's the catch, you ask? No catch, especially if you love oats!
Using our Quick Rolled Oats and with a little help from some applesauce, we've created a soft, delicious cookie that not only tastes great, but is simply to bake. Get ready, it's time for Easy Oat Cookies!
Ingredients:
2 cups Honeyville Quick Rolled Oats
1 cup Applesauce
1/4 cup Coconut Palm Sugar (or Brown Sugar)
1 tsp Cinnamon for topping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine oats, applesauce, and sugar, and mix together until a thick dough forms.
Form dough into cookie shapes and place on your USA Pan Baking Sheet, lined with parchment paper. Gently press down on cookies and sprinkle tops with cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
