With the help of our all new Grandpa's Kitchen Gluten-Free Yellow/White Cake Mix, we've created the perfect dish that shows just how amazing applesauce really is! Best of all, this dish is completely gluten-free! Oh applesauce, you never looked so good! Get ready, it's time to bake up some Applesauce Cake!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Applesauce
1 cup Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
1/2 cup Coconut Oil
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 pack Grandpa's Kitchen Gluten-Free Yellow/White Cake Mix
1 Tbsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, whisk together applesauce and sugar. Next, add coconut oil, vanilla, and eggs, and whisk until fully combined.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, nutmeg, allspice, and salt, and whisk together until fully combined.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and beat with an electric hand mixer until a thick batter forms.
Pour cake batter evenly in your USA Pan Square Cake Pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for 30-45 minutes in pan. Dust with powdered sugar, then serve.
